What are Facial Treatments?
Treatments include Dermaplaning, Chemical Peels, Ozone Steaming, High-Frequency Wand healing, LED light therapy, manual extractions and a deep facial massage. Your skin will only be treated with high-quality Medical Grade skincare products tailored to your individual needs.
Customized facials are suitable for all skin types and every facial is a highly customized and individualized treatment designed specifically for you during your appointment with plumpitupp’s medical aesthetician. No two treatments will be the same!
Customized Facial
Experience a customized facial tailored to your skin concerns and goals. Treatment can include dermaplaning, chemical peel, high frequency wand, LED therapy, extractions, and facial massage. Target blackheads, congestion, breakouts, fine lines, dryness, and/or pigmentation.
Deluxe Customized Facial
Including the 6-in-1 Hydra Dermabrasion machine used to cleanse, extract, and hydrate the skin while delivering serums and acids deep within the skin. Can also include chemical peels, dermaplaning, oxygen steam, high frequency wand, LED therapy, manual extractions, and facial massage. This facial will brighten the skin complexion, activate cell turnover, and leave the skin glowing.
Slough off dead skin and vellous hair with dermaplaning. Leaving the skin glowing, smooth, and feeling like a baby's bottom - with absolutely no down time!

Target skin concerns with one of Alumier MD's amazing medical grade chemical peels. A quick appointment to tackle acne, pigmentation, and/or texture.
Microneedling
The gold standard treatment for all things skin. Microneedling uses a medical device to create hundreds of microchannels in the skin which helps in skin tightening, acne reduction, scar elimination, and creating even skin tone. The treatment promotes youthful skin, prevents wrinkles, and targets enlarged pores. Microneedling is the best treatment in maintaining good skin health.
Candidacy & Safety
The perfect facial candidate is someone who is looking to leave the clinic with hydrated and luminous skin. There are many concerns that can be addressed during a customized facial appointment such as acne, pigmentation, skin texture, skin tightening, aging and congestion. After a customized facial at plumpitupp, you will leave with product knowledge, at home skincare recommendations, and glowing skin.
Safety is the most important factor at plumpitupp. Although most clients are facial candidates, it is important to not receive a facial if you:
Are currently being treated with Accutane.
Are currently treating an active skin infection with antibiotics.
Have an active skin lesion or open wound on your face.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your aesthetician prior to your appointment, as not all products will be suitable for you.
Results, Longevity & Maintenance
Achieving your skin goals is likely to occur with consistent Customized Facial treatments and the use of recommended at home skincare. plumpitupp’s Medical Aesthetician will create a timeline of your treatments to help you plan for your next visit. plumpitupp’s Medical Aesthetician will also provide you with a list of specific medical grade skincare products from Alumier MD that will maintain and increase the results of the treatment at home. For every client, one rule remains the same: WEAR YOUR SUNSCREEN DAILY!!!
Prep & Appointment Expectations
Before your appointment, there are a few things you can do:
For 7 Days prior to your Customized Facial, please avoid the following:
Waxing, threading, and use of all other depilatories on the face
Neurotoxin injections eg. Botox, Dysport (7 days, or as recommended by your practitioner)
Dermal filler injections (7 days, or as recommended by your practitioner)
Use of retinoids
Use of mechanical exfoliants
Use of topical AHA/BHA and all other exfoliant topical skincare products
Use of sunless tanning products
Acne topical treatments
Arrive without makeup
At your appointment, the Medical Aesthetician will explain the entire treatment to you. This includes product choice, your skin goals, and aftercare. You can expect to have your picture taken to upload into your medical chart. You will be asked to disclose your medical history, current medications, and allergies.
Your total time at the clinic will vary from 60-90 minutes.
Aftercare
As all facial treatments are highly customized, individual aftercare instructions may vary. Please follow the instructions provided to you by plumpitupp’s Medical Aesthetician. As a general guideline, follow these after care instructions:
Do not exercise vigorously for 24 hours post facial time.
Avoid using makeup products for 24 hours post facial time to minimize risk of adverse effects.
For 5 Days following your Customized Facial, please avoid the following:
AHA and BHA skincare products.
For 7 Days following your Customized Facial, please avoid the following:
Electrolysis, waxing, threading, or any other form of hair removal.
For 14 Days following your Customized Facial, please avoid the following:
Sun or tanning bed exposure
Microdermabrasion
Laser hair removal
Photofacials
Chemical peels
Laser or Radio Frequency (RF) skin treatments
Use the recommended sun protection product (SPF 30 or higher) for a minimum of 14 days post treatment.

The treatment will always begin by cleansing thoroughly with medical-grade skincare products using a lymphatic drainage massage technique. The Deluxe Customized Facial will include an additional full cleansing, exfoliating, and peel infusion treatment using a 6-in-1 Hydra Dermabrasion machine. In all facial treatments, you can expect to receive some combination of the following services: dermaplaning, LED Light therapy, high frequency wand therapy, facial massage, chemical peel, and exfoliation.
