How It Works
During laser hair removal, a laser emits a light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. The light energy is converted to heat, which damages the hair follicles within the skin . This damage delays or inhibits future hair growth. Through multiple sessions, the laser can target the hair at each stage of growth for long term hair removal.
The results will leave you with smooth, hair free skin.
Sessions are typically booked every 4-8 weeks for 4-10 sessions. Your plumpitupp practitioner will create an individualized treatment plan for you!

Please note DiolazeXL is not for individuals who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or using Accutane. The treatment will be avoided in areas where there are cancers, lesions, infections, tattoos, or recently tanned skin.

Prep & Appointment Expectations
There are a few housekeeping items to take care of before each laser hair removal session.
Hair should be shaved with a new razor 24-48 hours prior to treatment
Ensure to arrive to your appointment with clean skin (shower prior to and do not apply moisturizer)
No plucking, waxing or tweezing for 6 weeks prior to and after treatment
No excessively tanned skin from sun, tanning beds or tanning creams and sprays within two weeks of treatment
If you have a history of cold sores, an anti-viral should be prescribed before the treatment
Accutane (Isotretinoin) should not be used within 6 months of treatment
Aftercare
There is little down time for this incredible treatment! You may notice some redness, swelling, and slight irritation in the areas treated for up to 48 hours. However, most clients can resume their normal activities immediately after the treatment!
It is always advised to use sunblock for 3 weeks following the treatment and 3 weeks preceding the next session.
