How to Become a Nurse Injector
Before you decide to choose this route you have to take a step back and evaluate whether or not you’re passionate enough about this field to manage all of the ups and downs. This career requires insanely hard work to not only become an injector but to run your own business. After comepleting my RN degree and passing my NCLEX, the beauty industry called my name. It took months of research to find each education centre in the city, contact each place directly, and gather all of the info, pricing, and rules. Everybody’s routes in this industry are different, it’s important for you to find your own path. 💉
.
Step ONE: complete nursing school! Finish nursing, your clinical hours, and write your NCLEX! There are so many things to accomplish before injections! Focus on what’s in front of you because this ultimately prepares you for success 👩🏽⚕️
.
Step TWO: technically you can be an injector now. You don’t legally need additional training or any sort of certification. Being a nurse = being allowed to inject. However, don’t take that route. It’s unsafe. The real step two is find a program that suits your needs. The most common ones are tagged - contact these places to learn more about training! You need to be willing to invest at least $5000 into this level of education. 👩🏽🏫
.
Step THREE: practice practice practice!! Use real people, friends, &family because you need practice! Get familiar with different products, different techniques, and build a portfolio 👩🏽🔬
.
Step FOUR: solidify a relationship with a medical director - you CANNOT inject without directive from a Nurse Practitioner or Doctor! If you do not have a medical director, look for some online! There are tons who take on new nurses! 👯♀️
.
Step FIVE: flourish! Now that you have established a medical director, have had practice, did full courses and additional learning, you’re ready!! Contact other injectors for mentoring (and let them know that you have a medical director)!
